A New Beginning

by Justin
(Peoria IL USA)

A new year brings great changes and challenges for me. This year has its ups and downs, with managing and trying to become a better man for my family.

I am a very outgoing person, willing to do whatever it takes to provide for my wife and all five of our children. You see I have one child and she has four, and we’re expecting another.

Difficulty creeps in seeing some of our children thrown off. It bothers me sometimes because the other parents encourage both of us to grind harder, work longer and secure all emotions that they might be having at the time.

I love stepping in and working with our children. You see my daughter doesn’t have her mother in her life and my wife brings that for me.

I offer my fatherly duties for her two boys and her little girl. I am their father as much as she is the mother of my child.

She has one child who has both his biological parents there for him, which eases some of my time. It’s very reassuring because she gives me a big family. I am from a big family, and always have been and it’s so perfect.

The New Beginning is to keep a job as a career man. That way I can provide more, instead of little odd jobs.
