Shut Off The Anger
You can't be grateful and angry at the same time.
Try it, and you'll see what I mean.
So, if you really want to stop being angry and connect with that good, loving heart of yours on an ongoing basis, keep reading, and start this daily practice today!
- Your wise, good inner self is not angry. It's the outer ego/protective self that gets angry.
- When you practice gratitude for just two minutes a day, you'll begin to shift your identity from your ego self to your inner authentic self.
- If you find yourself getting angry while reading this, then you need this even more than you realize.
- It has been demonstrated by Dr. Rick Hanson's research that gratitude blocks the toxic emotions of fear and anger.
- Give it a try for just two weeks, and see what happens.
Every night, just before turning out your lights, set a timer, and spend two minutes reviewing the best parts of your day. You will be amazed at the results!
Think of it this way...
Anger is not your true nature. Your true nature is kind, loving, and grateful.
