Protect Your Relationships
It is your job to protect your relationships from your unhealthy anger.
Otherwise, you will be unintentionally hurting the people you love the most.
- There is a reason that police officers will tell you that the most
dangerous calls they make are domestic violence cases.
- That's because the greatest anger arises around the greatest love.
- When you choose to love someone, you have given them the greatest power to hurt you.
- Why? Because loving someone makes us vulnerable and therefore at risk.
- Getting the picture? Your relationships are the most likely scenarios to trigger you anger, so your relationships need your protection so that your unconscious, unhealthy anger does not destroy them.
Healthy anger is essential here. Healthy anger protects, unhealthy anger destroys. Healthy anger comes from love, unhealthy anger steps away from love.
Think of it this way...
Make up your mind to bring only your best to your relationships, and you are more likely to get the best from your loved ones.
