Anger Makes You Small

When you're feeling gratitude, love, and appreciaton, your thoughts are expansive, and your heart is open.

When you're feeling threatened or angry, your thoughts become very focused and obsessive, and your heart closes off to others.

  • The point is not to eliminate anger, the point is to translate into healthy, effective action so you can let it go.

  • The problems come when you stay in anger too long, perhaps feeling helpless and moving towards bitterness. This will literally make you sick in body and mind.

  • You can't fight your anger and win, you simply have to pivot to gratitude and love, and your heart and mind expand naturally.

  • In your expanded state, you may still have some anger, but it will not possess you. You've created a larger container for it, where you can better manage it and focus it toward effective action.

The practice of Goodfinding will help you to expand into the kind and brilliant person you were born to be.

Think of it this way...

Your true nature is expansive, kind, and loving. In that expansive state, you can even have compassion for your own angry, threatened self.
