How can you help youth identify their rage, the consequences of their rage and assist them in dealing with their rage in healthy ways?
Response from Dr. DeFoore
Thanks for your question. The answers to your questions are provided in specific web pages and products on my site.
This page was created specifically to help youth learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy anger.
Rage, by the way, is generally defined as complex anger that is generally out of control and often connected with violent impulses. For that reason, I would refer you to this page on bullying and this one on preventing school violence.
I also suggest you look at this page on parenting teenagers, and this one on preventing teen suicide.
You will find several CD programs here, designed to help with teen anger issues.
I hope this is helpful. If you want more specific help, write again and tell me more about yourself and what you're looking for.
My very best to you,
Dr. DeFoore
