Nice To People, Things Beware

by Cory
(Williston, ND)

I hate everybody, even myself. My anger can be controlled when other people set me off, but when something (video game, pickup, phone, gas pump) burns me I snap. I have broken numerous game controllers and put a good many dents in my pickup.

I have only damaged one other thing that wasn't mine. It cost me a job when I dented a desk after having "too much" put on my plate. I can usually see other people's side when I get into an argument. Sometimes that sets me off because I can't be mad at them.

Response from Dr. DeFoore

Hello Cory, and thanks for telling your story here. Good for you for avoiding attacking other people, and focusing your anger on objects. That is a step in the right direction, and now it's time to take more good steps.

Follow every step of the process described on this page, and I think you'll get some good results.

Believe in yourself and the goodness in your heart, Cory.

My very best to you,

Dr. DeFoore
