I'm Starting To Wonder If I'm A Bad Person With Bad Karma

by Mikaele
(Tucson, Az)

I've had problems with anger since I was a teenager. When I'd get angry I'd lash out at others. I've been in so many fights because of my anger it's not even funny.

I thought after going to anger management counseling I had reigned in my anger problems. Apparently that isn't the case. Lately it seems like anything that can go wrong in my life has and will go wrong.

I just found the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with and it seems like every time I try to plan something with her it blows up in my face. I'm starting to get really angry about this.

It feels like when I was a teen all over again and I don't like it at all. I'm starting to wonder if I'm a bad person and this is karma.

Response from Dr. DeFoore

Hello Mikaele, and thanks for telling your story here. If you were truly a bad person, you wouldn't even be concerned about being one. Your anger bothers you because it doesn't match up with who you really are inside.

I think you sound like a smart person, and someone who really wants to change. I hope so, for your sake. If you do want to change, I think you'll find the exercises described on this FAQ page to be very helpful. Take this seriously, Mikaele, and you will benefit.

I also encourage you to read the following pages:

You can be the person you want to be, Mikaele. The above referenced exercises will help you to heal from your past, and you can be free to create a new future.

I encourage you to find a positive belief system, and not to let your fear of bad karma get in the way of you being a healthy, happy person. One of the best things about belief systems is that you can change them. Create beliefs that serve you well.

My very best to you,

Dr. DeFoore
