If Something Does Not Go The Right Way

by Narissa
(Georgia, USA)

My name is Narissa. I am 20 years old. I am in a relationship, and I feel like I am always yelling, bickering, arguing, and nagging.

I hate feeling like this. I feel if something does not go my way, or the right way, I get mad. I have an attitude problem, where it comes and goes all the time. Like I don't mean to do it on purpose, but it will come out of me.

I take my anger out on others, and at times say what I feel, without caring for others' feelings. When I get mad I scream, yell, try and punch things, grunt, and make noises.

I can't always hold in my anger. Mostly when I do I become irritated or frustrated and I do not handle the situation, I just sweep it under the rug and when I do blow it comes out on the ones I love. I keep a lot of things held in, and do not know how to properly release the stress I am under.

I feel like this puts a tear in my relationship. My family feel like they can not say too much to me, or I will snap. I hate feeling like this, but when I become angry it controls my whole body. I took the quick anger test, and I need help. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
