I Don't Know My Own Strength

by Katlyn

I have real bad anger and I don't know my own strength. I'm afraid I'll hurt my friends, family and myself. I don't know what to do and I need help.

Response from Dr. DeFoore

Hello Katlyn, and thanks for telling your story here. It sounds very clear that you're having a lot of trouble with your anger. The reason you don't want to hurt your friends, family and yourself is that you're a good person, and this anger doesn't match with who you really are.

But it is your anger, and you're responsible--and that's good news, because it means you can do something about it. Do all of the exercises on this FAQ page, and you will get some real benefit.

Believe in yourself, Katlyn, and the goodness of your heart.

My very best to you,

Dr. DeFoore
