I Am A Rageaholic Jerk To My Wife In The Morning

by Kevin
(Edmonton, AB, Canada)

I am a rageaholic. I have tried to change my ways but still fall back into my old behavior patterns.

My wife suffers the most from this. She has to put up with me yelling and screaming and criticizing her every morning. This has been going on for years.

I just want to stop, so badly in fact that sometimes I think about killing myself so I wouldn't keep hurting her like this. I love her and just want her to be happy.

How do I stop being angry about everything all the time?

Response from Dr. DeFoore

Hello Kevin, and thanks for telling your story here. I'm really glad you decided to reach out for help here. I will do what I can.

I respect your willingness to take responsibility for your anger and your rage addiction. That's the first step. You're a good person inside, and that's why you don't want to keep hurting your wife. If you follow all of the recommendations I will make here, it will help you get in touch with that good man that you really are, and heal the anger/rage addiction.

First, follow all of the recommendations you find on this FAQ page. Be sure and take very step as instructed, to get the benefit you're looking for.
