I always knew I had anger problems. The smallest thing would make me mad and I would blow up on the person who made me mad and then just start swinging.
The summer before I started high school my anger got real bad. I was sent to juvenile detention for fighting during summer school. There my parole officer suggested I start going to anger management classes.
Two weeks later I was sitting in a smokey room with people of different ages talking about our tempers. I made friends with a really cute guy and he introduced me to kick boxing. It was fun and I was really good at it, plus I got to hang out with this really cute guy for 3 hours everyday!
Two years later I'm done with anger management classes and I'm still in kick boxing. The moral of the story is that you can help your anger--you just have to find what helps you. It may be shooting guns, playing sports, kick boxing, wrestling, or even anger management classes themselves.
